I am currently a teacher for Shelby County schools and I am loving it! I moved to Alabama from Mississippi in 2017 to be with my husband. I taught Kindergarten and 1st grade in MS, but now I teach 3rd grade. I absolutely love teaching and trying to come up with fun and creative ways to teach my students. I always want to learn more and be better, so I attend teacher conferences as much as I can. Attending these conferences helps me to get new and fresh ideas to bring back to my classroom to help my students. I love seeing those "ah ha!" moments with my students. If I see what I'm teaching is too difficult or students aren't understanding, I will adjust my teaching techniques to better serve them. My schedule will fluctuate based on the week. My husband is a pharmacist and has different off days each week. He will have to take care of our newborn for me. We can definitely work out a plan once we meet! I can do anytime after school if he is off work. I can't wait to hear from you

Hey there! My name is Kelsey, I have been a nanny for the past 6 years, and am currently looking for my next family. I would love for my next family to be long term as that is what my previous jobs were! I have had CPR and first aid training. I am currently taking lessons in Spanish to become fluent, so if you would like I could teach your children as well. I was a preschool teacher for 3-year-old, so I would love to watch your child grow academically. I also was a childcare worker for Valleydale Baptist church taking care of every age including special needs for five years. I love kids and like to keep myself pretty active, so I would keep your children active as well! But I know everyone needs their downtime, so I in that past I would build forts and have movie days with the kids when they were worn out! I have many references so if you would like to interview me, I'd be more then happy to provide them!

I'm a mother of a 18-year-old. I've cared for children of all ages throughout my life. I have once been a longtime babysitter for a toddler when I was a young teenager. I love children and love having fun with them. I am a non-smoker and have my own dependable transportation.
