I like taking care of the younger generation for various reasons, but mainly I like to think I am a positive influence and role model to those who I encounter, as well as to those I have cared for in the past. I want to leave their time spent with me as a memorable experience in both their heart and mind. I recently ended a 10-year live-in nanny position (March 2015). I begin the job when the child was 7 years old; she is currently 17 years old, so my services were no longer needed as she could pretty well manage on her own. My main duties included supervision, mentoring, picking up/dropping off at school and extracurricular activities. I was also a nanny for approximately 5 years to a 10 month year old girl. I cared for her 7/8 hours a day, 3 to 4 days a week - right up until the summer before she began kindergarten. My duties included supervision and ensuring the child's safety, preparing meals and feeding, changing diapers, toilet training, bathing/ dressing, entertainment/learning activities, and transporting to occasional doctor appointments. I also have approximately 9+ years experience in the nursery at church, from newborns to the age of 5 years old. Duties included supervising and monitoring, feeding and changing the newborns; while supervising and providing activities for the older aged children. I also assisted in a rotating schedule in helping mentor and supervise groups of older aged children. And, I also have my own personal experiences as a mother of one child who will be 30 in July. My first grand baby is on the way; he is due to be here in July, as well. I am excited about this new baby adventure!

Caring And Creative Nanny Available Part-Time, Aka "Cyllene"
I love working with kids of all abilities. I'm looking for new families to work with anywhere from 1-3 days per week, especially over summer months. Children are a joy for me to care for, because of their emotive communication and curiosity. My favorite part of working with children is seeing their amazing growth and communicating in creative ways: through activities, physical gestures, pictures, stories, music, etc. For eight years, I have cared for children, youth, and adults in a variety of roles. Currently I am an IA in special education. I nannied a family with two children developing for nearly 3 years. For over a year, I was a live-in caregiver (HCA) for two adult women with special needs. I nannied for an observant, school-aged child on the autism spectrum, as well as assistant-taught children, youth, and adults with special needs. I have a B. A. in psychology.

I am 23, spent the last few years working as a server and working to travel. I love the world we live in, the nature around us and exploring new places and cultures! I have been to 12 countries and have had a great time! From working on an organic tea farm in Nepal to scuba diving in Iceland, even studying yoga and mediation in India. Now I have been home for a year and now living in Burien. I recently left my job Serving and am ready for something new. I want something rewarding, I absolutely love children! I think I am a child at heart and I appreciate their innocence, positivity and playfulness! I grew up with an older brother in Gig Harbor, WA. It was wonderful, we spent all our time playing sports, being out in nature and adventuring and even now, when I'm working, hiking, meditating etc. I can look back and have such a love for my home and my childhood because it made me who I am today and of course I want the same for any little one I nanny!

Hi, my name is Sarah. I live in West Seattle. I truly enjoy seeing the spark in a child's eyes when they discover or learn something new! I am very dependable, driven, and organized. I'm a big fan of cleaning up the messes as we go. Always safety first, fun second. I know that every child is different, every family is different and I love being an integral part in helping you manage your house. Experience: I started working with children as a babysitter for multiple families, ages ranging 4 mos- 12 yrs, while also volunteering in my church's nursery, assisting to look after 6-12 children ages 6-24mos. For two yrs I was a live-in weekend nanny, two children ages 2-5 yrs. After that, for three yrs I was part time for 4 families equaling full time hrs, ages 0mos-10yrs. I was with my last family for almost 2 yrs, 3 children ages 3-8 yrs. My most recent family is three children, ages 1-6 yrs.

Family Coach And Professional Nanny
Avg response < 9 hrs
I love newborns and new families! It is a pleasure and passion of mine to care, nurture and love infants/toddlers. Most of my experience has predominantly been with zero to five years, but I have worked with all ages and stages. I have experience with special needs and multiples, live-out, live-in and overnight/weekends/vacations. Children love me and I adore them! I am not a replacement-parent nanny, I am an extra-member of your family nanny. My child and family philosophy is based on nonviolent communication (NVC), secure attachment, and emotion coaching. I believe in structured yet flexible and fun routines; boundary setting, that encourage autonomy and self efficacy; and playful learning practices that inspire both the learner and teacher. Family coaching also available.

Rest Assured Your Child Is In Good Hands!
Full-time nanny. Cared for a 7-month-old boy. Take the boys on outings to the mall and park, with more activities as they have gotten older, such as Baby n Me class and Gymboree. I have been a live-in Personal Assistant/Nanny/Housekeeper, for almost three years. The only reason I'm looking for a new position is because the children are old enough to not need a nanny, anymore. I also take care of a 4 year old every other weekend. My experience is threefold - I'm the grandmother of a 7 1/2-year-old granddaughter. I volunteer at her school on a regular basis and my best reference is from her Kindergarten Teacher! Secondly, while I was the single parent of her mother (I consider myself a single-parent success story), I spent most of that time working in a daycare, and third, I've been a Nanny/Housekeeper for the family of 5+ whom I mentioned above, since January 2010. Another advantage I have to offer is that I work seasonally and I volunteer for a school district. Therefore, I have passed every kind of background check, imaginable. I would be happy to submit to any you would like me to. Thank you!
