Seeking care for myself in my 30s. Services needed: companionship, feeding, meal preparation, medication prompting, help staying physically active, mobility assistance, transportation, light housekeeping, errands / shopping. No prior experience required. Specialized care needs: support for memory care. A little more about myself: I can be anxious, lethargic, reserved. Creative mother of four kids and living wife. Has various disorders that make it difficult to get around, pick up stuff off floor, patient is prone to dizzy spells and fainting. Patient is a PTSD survivor and may have ptsd attacks. Caregivers are not expected to pick up or clean after kids. We bed a caregiver that can help Amanda run errands, go to appointments, stay active, and do mommy things aka cooking dinner helping patient put away heavy groceries. Some days patient may simply need companionship. I'm looking for someone who is patient, chatty, fond of pets, outdoorsy. My ideal caregiver would be dependable and be able to take initiative. Remind the patient to eat, take out the trash if full, don't let client pick up heavy items or things that have fallen on the floor as she can get stuck and unable to get up. Please be patient with the client. She can be socially awkward and is prone to crying spells. Patient enjoys anything creative, watching Netflix or Hulu (usually comedies, documentaries, science fiction, ) would love to learn asl, and enjoys walking around hobby lobby or sitting at a coffee shop. Patient is married with 4 children, 1 cat, and 4 parakeets. Would typically need help for 4 hrs a day 5 days a week indefinitely. Hours are negotiable as is pay.
