My philosophy is, it's my job as a care giver to teach children how to handle any situation. If I fight a battle today, tomorrow will be easier. Everything has a lesson in it, so I encourage children to think ahead and advocate for themselves. Rather than having a tantrum I encourage them to used their words and explain what is bothering them. I do believe using the word no, or disciplining a child does help them learn what is expected of them and help them learn to make better choices. If they are unable to do something I encourage them to tell me they need help and I will happily coach them through it. I utilize some positive parenting techniques such as boundaries, modeling respect, logical consequences, and firm but caring. I am not a maid/nanny. I don't feel it's my job to maintain your house.

Throughout my high school days, I have always tutored in math. Being the president of our Mu Alpha Theta club meant I had to set examples for other students and be the leader. I have always stayed late to make sure students, who had trouble with math, understood their problems, got ready for any upcoming exams, and had a clear goal of what to do on their own. On the new SAT math section, I have scored 720 out of 800. I have had A's in every single course I have taken. 4. 5 GPA. After high school, I took a gap year to pursue photography. After, I applied to the University of Maryland Global Campus in order to be able to work while pursuing a degree in mathematics. I have worked at Studio for a year until the pandemic happened. I designed many lesson plans tailored to each student. I have increased SAT score by 200 points on average. Many students of mine have successfully passed their CLEP exam as well. Starting in 2012; I cared for an infant that was 5 months old up until she was 5 years old (reference available).
