Lessons in Lebanon

Hi, my name is Noelle and I am currently a sophomore at Anderson University where I study elementary education with minors in special education and history. I have 8 years of experience including: babysitting, working at a daycare, swim lessons, serving in the nursery at church, and summer nannying. Last summer I worked at a church camp for elementary students. Due to COVID, camps were cancelled for this summer. I'll likely be gone from May 26-June 26 unless I get a job offer I just can't turn down. I'm comfortable with pets, am lifeguard/CPR certified, have a clean driving record, and drive a minivan. I have a background check from AU and would share upon request.

I am a Junior at Purdue University with a major in Kinesiology and a focus in Pre-Nursing. I currently work for the Witham YMCA and Lafayette YMCA as a lifeguard. I have my Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, First Aid and CPR certifications. I have also completed my Firefighter 1 and 2 certifications. In 2018, I had the privilege of spending my summer with preschoolers at the Witham YMCA Summer Day Camp where I provided swim lessons as well as daily care. Last summer, I worked as a nanny for a family with an 18-month-old and 3-year-old; I cooked lunch for them, created arts and crafts and spent a lot of time outside playing! I'm looking for a family in need of childcare this coming summer in the West Lafayette, Lafayette area.

I have extensive work experience in one on one teaching. This began with teaching children of various ages and skill levels how to swim. Today, I teach individuals of many ages and style interests voice, piano, and musicianship lessons. Along the way, I found myself enjoying the opportunity to provide private tutoring in math, science, social studies, and reading comprehension to one of my music students. Having achieved high grades and very good standardized test scores during high school and college, I feel confident in my ability to help others master content, and more importantly, establish good learning/organizational strategies. I am also very passionate about helping individuals set and attain goals, and I love working one on one to reach success!

I am a musician of 24 years. My principle instrument is Alto Sax, but have played and can instruct on all. Depending on the age and goals of the student, music theory, and music history studies may be applied to lessons. Sessions will last between 30 and 60 minutes and all sheet music, or practice books required will need to be purchased independently.

My name is Haley. I recently graduated from college with a degree in biology and I am looking to help tutor local children in a variety of subjects. I worked as a tutor at a local middle school for two years during college. I was also a camp counselor and taught many science lessons to kids ages 4 - 15.

Growing up the oldest of 4 siblings was my first exposure to child care. With parents that worked so frequently, I was often left to help with homework, clean up around the house, make dinner, drive the kids to soccer practice, etc. Later, in high school, I spent my junior and senior year tutoring younger students in math (and some English). I was also in the Lebanon High School mentoring program, where each upperclassmen was assigned a freshman to mentor for their first year. This proved to be an invaluable experience because it helped me appreciate how much I've grown and learned, and how much joy I get from passing those lessons on. I love to be outdoors, and am an advocate for active lifestyles. I am very laid-back, but I understand there is a time and place to be assertive. I am comfortable working with all ages, and I am confident I will meet whatever requirements are had by any parents or caretakers. And my goal shall always remain: learn, laugh, and make every day an adventure

I have been watching children for 3 almost 4 years now. I have watched anything from a small infant to a adolescent. I also have provided children with lessons on horseback riding and barrel racing, as I do that as my Hobby. I have also tutored children in grades younger and older than I throughout schooling years. I`m fun-loving and easy to get along with!

I have taught middle school and high school math in Indianapolis for the last four years. I began babysitting for neighbors and friends when I was in middle school and continued throughout high school. In college, I worked as a nanny for about a year, before working for the Boys & Girls Club and YMCA. I have taught swim lessons in the group and private settings in various capacities for more than seven years and completed college as an NCAA Division 1 swimmer in 2012. I am available throughout the summer as a babysitter, nanny, tutor, or swim instructor for your children.

I teach middle school math and have experience working with students with special needs. Though I specialize in math, I also have a passion for literacy and can provide services for students as young as kindergarten through sophomore year. I have taught swim lessons for the past seven years and have experience with toddler lessons through competitive swimming. I was a NCAA Division 1 swimmer for Marshall University and was a Conference USA finalist. My specialties were breast stroke and freestyle though I would be able to provide assistance on all four competitive strokes as well as all survival strokes.

I volunteered as a youth coordinator, and have to teach lesson plans to up to 15 children. I have volunteered tutoring people in my classes throughout my 10 years of schooling if they needed help. I am putting 10 years that I was a volunteer, but I have worked with more individuals through volunteering. I don't require fellow students or friends to pay me. I believe that you don't have to be paid to have the skills.
