Hi! I have worked in the past two years in the Hawai'I Public Charter School system. I received my History degree and Spanish language certificate from the University of Hawaii - Hilo, my teaching license from Kaho'iwai, and am currently working on a Master's of English from Grand Canyon University. I co-wrote many IEP plans and am comfortable working with students who have these plans in place. Due to Covid-19 and having a baby, I decided to take my passion virtual. If you require in-home tutoring, I am able to provide that - however, I am a single mom and my son would be brought with me. I have taught in the virtual setting before, and am comfortable with teaching through a screen. I am a reliable, capable, and dedicated teacher. I strive to make sure students not only understand the lesson but understand WHY they are learning it.
