I am a dental hygienist who will be working Mon-Thur 8am-5:30 p.m. My fiancé is a fire fighter and his schedule changes weekly. We will need care 1-3 days a week the days we both are scheduled to work.

I'm looking for companion care for my mother in her 80s. Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with pets. Mom has dementia and is experiencing anxiety at night and is not comfortable staying alone. I am leaving on a three week vacation and need someone to stay with her through the night, starting the evening of Sunday May 28th and ending the morning of Saturday June 17th. I have some friends and family that may be able to fill in a few nights if you are not available the entire time. Thank you

About who needs care: My mom is a delightful woman who is struggling with Alzheimer's. She is gracious and grateful but also forgetful of the immediate past. She has trouble initiating tasks - she will need some assistance with dressing and makeup and keeping a schedule through the day. Also meal prep though she is a simple eater. She walks independently with a walker but needs close eyes on her as her balance is not great. We have 3 other caregivers but are looking for help during the day on the weekends and possibly some evenings/nights during the week. We are flexible and work around family needs and special occasions. About the care needs: We would love to have someone who has experience in memory care but are willing to teach what is needed! Patience will be needed as my mom moves slowly - it can take an hour to eat a meal with her! My mom appreciates a sense of humor. Services needed include: meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and bathing / dressing.

Our little boy is just trying to crawl . He loves to smile and laugh and is generally a happy boy. We want him stimulated and engaged and exploring. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs and horses. I work full time and his dad will be having serious back surgery as soon as it can be scheduled. He will then be home for months recuperating with a home health care nurse.
