Our almost 2-year-old is a super sweet boy and so is our 5-month-old. Looking on occasion for a sitter so mommy can get things done without kids.

About who needs care: mom uses a purewick to lessen the number of times she needs to go to the bathroom. She walks on a walker with assistance. They will live in 2 bedroom duplex when care is needed. Really all they need is someone to help them start their day and with basic day to day needs. It is very important that mom walks on a walker even though she will try to convince you she needs to ride in a wheel chair. We are trying to keep her strength up. Here's a basic day: Mom: Up at 7:30ish, give thyroid pill only, go to bathroom, clean pure wick and change pure wick. Dress for day. Take meds Eat breakfast - almost always oatmeal, toast & coffee watch tv Eat lunch watch tv Eat Dinner, take meds back to bathroom when needed for BM. (once she has her BM, she's usually done with bathroom visits until the evening when she will need a pure wick change and put on pajamas. She's always in bed right after dinner and meds. She will sleep/watch tv until next morning. About the care needs: Mom loves to sing. Although she doesn't move around a lot during the day, this person needs to be able to assist her from the bed to the walker, bathroom to the walker, chair to the walker, etc. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
