I am looking to hire a babysitter for my 8-month-old for every Monday afternoon until May. I have a recurring physical therapy appointment in Freeland and need someone to look after my daughter while I am in the doctor's office. In addition, I will also be looking for an occasional babysitter for other days when I might need another set of hands and eyes to look after my child. Retired professor of foreign languages (Spanish, German, Spoken Latin, Modern Greek). Author of novels in Latin. Loves ballet, classical music, art and film. Interested in quantum physics, metaphysics, Buddhism, hiking. Care-giver: Open to different viewpoints. Kind, compassionate, patient, skilled. Help with attending to catheter and wound care, cooking, light cleaning, making appts and driving.

Hi! Thank you for considering our job posting. Our boys are both 10 and, although twins, they are polar opposites in interests but very very bonded. They are very kind, funny, adventurous, and one is athletic whereas the other loves books and pretend play. Both boys love riding their bikes, swimming exploring the beach, digging into good books and comics, writing their own comics, and more. We are looking for a deeply fun and enthusiastic nanny to just have fun playing with the boys - not only watching them or overseeing them, but actually engaging with them and playing with them. We prefer the nanny to not always be on their mobile device and instead be focused on our boys and we also ask our boys to be device free during the day. Very easy-going and flexible kiddos - as happy to read books as play outside. Grumpy times can always be fixed by snacks, a snuggle, and a book. Looking for someone to give care while both parents are at work - may sometimes be care while I'm working from home. Lots of play outside during the summer expected - we have a fenced in backyard so the kids have free reign to play and eat from the veggie garden. About who needs care: Gordon loves gardening and stamp collecting. He is a retired Navy Captain and middle school teacher. He has moderate vascular dementia and some hearing loss. He does his own bathing and toileting and walks without a cane. We have a well-behaved tabby cat. Services needed include: meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.

We have 2 children, ages 8 and 5. The 8-year-old will be entering 3rd grade and the 5-year-old will be entering Pre-K. We are looking for someone to come by in the mid morning during the week and help our 8-year-old with his homework and our 5-year-old with age-appropriate learning (crafts/interactive play).
