Seeking care for my father in his 70s. Services needed: bathing / dressing, help staying physically active, light housekeeping. Looking for someone with 3+ years of experience caring for seniors. Specialized care needs: support for memory care. A little more about my father: he can be pleasant, reserved. Pleasant overall, quiet except for rare chatty episodes. Mobility is slow. Needs assistance w/ bathing and bathroom. Meals must be heated & bite size pieces but he is able to eat. Non diagnosed but Alzheimer's symptoms. Likes laughter and fun. I'm looking for someone who is patient. Must be patient and be able to laugh w/ him and make him laugh and interact. Able to clean / shower, heat up meals and maybe light housework; sweep floors, make bed and change sheets if soiled and throw in washer. Must be kind . My father loves looking out windows & being outside when warm enough and needs more physical activity. Currently, sleeps 1030 p.m. to 10 a.m. with various ups and downs throughout the night. My Mother is with him 24/7 and I am there in PM. She needs a break and assistance w/ father's care.
