Full Time Private Tutor Educator Needed

We're looking for a warm, organized, and energetic Private Educator and Family Assistant who loves all things kids. This is a key role in a lively, fast-paced household where no two days are ever the same. The primary focus of this position is tutoring and supporting the children's academic growth, providing hands-on homework help, enriching after-school learning activities, and fostering curiosity and confidence across all subjects. In addition to tutoring the kids after school, you'll help keep the household running smoothly by coordinating the children's calendars, scheduling appointments, managing the nanny schedule, and maintaining all things child-related-from wardrobes and school supplies to playdates and daily routines. You'll also serve as a backup nanny for about 10 hours a week, ensuring consistency and calm when needed, while continuing to encourage academic play and age-appropriate, stimulating activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background and the ability to support four school-age children, ages 5 to 10, with their academic and creative development. We are seeking someone with at least 10 years minimum of recent, full-time teaching experience. Experience teaching elementary school would be a major bonus! Any experience working in private homes as a senior nanny, tutor, or family assistant would be nice, as we would love to find someone who is equally comfortable with structured teaching and hands-on household support. This family truly values education and wants to find someone who can help guide and inspire their children's learning. A college degree from a four-year accredited university, a clean driving record, and a valid Texas driver's license are required. LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY PLEASE - applicants must live in the greater Austin area. Flexibility to travel for up to a week at a time to cover for a nanny may occasionally be needed.
