My family is looking for a part-time personal care attendant or respite caretaker for my 18-year-old son with autism. We are looking for an employee who has some experience with autism, or is comfortable around a young adult with autism. He has very low verbal skills and can once in a while display aggressive behavior, but training will be provided. We are looking for a part-time employee who can work with him at our home in McKinney. The pay is $20 an hour, and the worker will be a W-2 employee who is paid by direct deposit every 2 weeks. We currently have various weekend shifts and afterschool shifts available. This summer (end of May thru August), we will have full time shifts available as well.
