E will be 6 -years-old in May. He has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He is very mobile but with DMD his muscles are becoming weaker as he ages so he does have some physical limitations and needs more supervision/help because of it. He's usually a very happy, silly, polite, caring, and playful little boy. He does have difficulty controlling the way he acts when he's feeling frustrated/sad/mad, though. He also sometimes struggles with compliance and attention. He's getting much better at all of these things but definitely needs patience, consistency, and structure from a caregiver to help teach him to be his best self. He's an only child and lives with his mom, dad, and grandma. Grandma and mom are mostly home. Mom works in her workshop in the backyard and Grandma is a great playmate for E but get's tired easily. Additional needs include pick up / drop off, light housekeeping, having a reliable car and being comfortable with pets. Family Age Groups: Youth.
