This position involves assisting the employee (employer) on the job. This support position is based on work-related goals that focus on helping the employer obtain/maintain independence on their job and provide the support necessary to ensure success in future employment opportunities. Service will be provided at the consumer's place of employment and home. In addition to working on skills related to performing specific job tasks, the coach also helps with the interpersonal skills necessary in the workplace and assess the worker's strengths/needs or may rely on an already completed assessment. This is on the job supports two days a week; assistance with learning the job, staying focused, and learning how to complete the job safely with gradual minimal support. The third day would be for community activities. Hourly pay + mileage.
