My 22-month-old son (D) has Hurler Syndrome. He just had a second bone marrow transplant so he is immunocompromised and he can't be around anyone who is sick. D. has a gtube which you may or may not need to use for feeds. He will still have a central line. You won't need to do anything with it but would need to learn a little about it. We would need someone from roughly 7:15-5 about 4-5 days a week. I work 4 days a week. We also have a 3-year-old daughter who is in preschool. We may need help with pick ups or drop offs occasionally. D will have weekly doctors appointments that he would need to be driven to. I work and would meet you there. He also goes to speech therapy at the hospital. He receives PT/OT/developmental therapy in our home. Otherwise D is a very sweet, active little boy. Additional needs include pick up / drop off, light housekeeping and having a reliable car. Family Age Groups: Youth. Diagnosis: Developmental Delays.
