Needed Special Needs Caregiver In New Haven

Looking for a female part-time caregiver for our adult child with special needs (22 years of age). Our child lives in a community with other adults with special needs. Our family member has Cognitive Disabilities, Developmental Delays, Speech Delay, and controlled epilepsy. The caregiver must be compassionate, kind, empathetic and have a positive attitude. The caregiver must be able to drive for the position. The job entails running errands, going to the grocery store, driving to and from horse-back riding, computer assistance, laundry, light housekeeping and some meal preparation. Criminal background check and driving record check will be required. A good sense of humor is essential, a person who is engaging, as well as one who provides processing time when communicating.
