About who needs care: 1. Blood pressure fluctuates between High (when lying down) to extremely low (when stands up). In morning and after standing (with walker) subject to passing out if has not had medication and is not given sufficient time to adjust right after standing. 2. He is not recovering from stroke but is recovering from recovering from hospital stay ( 2 weeks for fall) and from rehabilitation ( at skilled nursing for 20+ days). 3. Get him up; clean him up; bathe (every 2 days); get him dressed; prepare breakfast; ensure he takes morning meds after breakfast; clean bed and/or wash pjs; prepare lunch; ensure mid day meds are taken; general housecleaning as needed; prepare dinner; ensure evening meds are taken; change him and dress in pjs for night; give night meds before leaving. 4. Miscellaneous other duties as needed. About the care needs: Ideal person would be be someone with an easy going personality but who can be strict when needed. May have to take to physical therapy 2 or 3 times a week. Client walks with a walker and will need assistance getting in and out of bed (maybe) and getting out of car. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
