About who needs care: Hi-- I just got a kidney transplant and I need some support for the next 1. 5-2 months. I need support with transportation to and from New York City for several planned follow-up appointments and a procedure. Also, I would like for someone to be available to accompany me to the emergency room in NYC in case I cannot get there on my own. I would also appreciate support with medication management-- reminders to order and schedule medication deliveries on time. Other things might come up, but that's most of what I need at this time. This is time-flexible, but would need someone who does have flexibility to respond to emergencies if necessary. No special medical training is necessary, mostly need transportation support. I am also very immunocompromised and you would need to be comfortable wearing a mask, other PPE, getting covid tests, generally taking precautions to minimize exposure to any viruses/ bacteria and learn about how to care for an immunocompromised person.
