Companion Care Needed For My Father In West Orange

About who needs care: My father has alzheimers/dementia and needs general supervision during the workday. He is fairly independent, but needs occasional guidance, and needs someone to transport him to activities. He's a former doctor, so we'd like to find volunteer opportunities for him. He enjoys horses (he's a former rider) and would like to engage with horses. He enjoys golf too. We'd like to structure his day so he gets out of the house and socializes with people his age. About the care needs: We'd prefer a male caregiver who has a thick skin and can manage someone who at times can be difficult. Someone who is a good communicator and can hold a conversation. They should be a confident driver and know the area of West Orange / Montclair. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
