Companion Care Needed For My Father In Prior Lake

About who needs care: My dad is a diabetic and is a bit unsteady on his feet. He uses a cane. My mother is home but works 3 days a week to get out of the house. The house has stairs so it makes tasks harder for him. My brother and I would like to get them into a one level home but he is resistant right now and so I think some help in the afternoons would be nice. He mostly likes to watch tv but does like to go out to Mystic sometimes. He's not a big gambler but it gets him out and moving around. About the care needs: Someone who is patient. He is hard of hearing even with the hearing aides. He has a pretty good sense of humor unless he is worried about something, then he can be a little grumpy. He likes to talk sports. I'd like someone who doesn't mind doing a little laundry and maybe vacuum once a week and if possible go with him to Mystic on the days he likes to go. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
