About who needs care: My sister recently had a massive stroke. About the care needs: We would like a female caregiver who has experience caring for stroke recovery patients. She should be in good health and able to assist in lifting my sister when needed in adjusting her position in bed or on the couch. My sister utilizes a sit and stand chair to be transported throughout the house. My sister can not get into the sit and stand on her own. She needs assistance with toileting and bathing (not sure we will ask care taker intitially to provide this service). She also can not get her own food. She is verbal but its broken and sometimes she uses the incorrect word for something. The caregiver should be fun, warm, and have great bedside manner. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
