Help is needed for my 96-year-old mother, three days a week to start, for hands-on care. RX management, light housekeeping, spotting her in and out of the shower, washing and drying her hair, companionship and social interaction, help with diet/meal prep, infrequent grocery and other errands, and taking her with Uber or cab to and from appointments, usually at NW, which is close. Preferences include a credentialed healthcare professional or caregiver that demonstrates knowledge and skills in dementia and cognitive decline care, with documented experience working with people with early-stage cognitive decline and possible dementia, and/or undergoing training and possessing certifications from CDP, NCCDP, or the Alzheimer's Association, with a goal of reversing or stopping the memory loss, and being CPR/first-aid trained and a nonsmoker.
