About who needs care: My husband has had a lot of new health issues happen over the past few years; Too much to type but he he smart and kind and loves his family He is presently at Solaris nursing facility and has been for 9 weeks He was there because he had a defibrillator pacemaker put in and he has been in rehab. He walks with a walker but needs help transporting from wheelchair to bed or chair. He typically uses just a walker. John also has a little dementia where short-term memory has been an issue but long-term is still very strong. I need help with showering dressing, medications, and physical therapy each day. About the care needs: my husband is about 200 pounds so someone that would be strong enough to help me get him in and out of the shower and get him dressed and transport bed to chair, etc. Also someone that would be patient and kind and has some experience with dementia patients. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
