About who needs care: Overnight Caregiver Needed for Kind Elderly Gentleman (Peaceful Home Setting) Looking for a lively, upbeat overnight caregiver with great energy and a warm personality to keep watch over my stepfather during the night. Hes a kind, good-humored man recovering from recent health challenges, and Id love someone who can bring positivity and alertness to the evenings while I get some much-needed rest. Ill be nearby if anything serious comes up, but I need someone who can confidently hold the space overnight. Hours: Every other night (approx. 9:00 p.m. 7:00 AM) Location: Bell, FL Start Date: November 15-20 ish Responsibilities include: Watching his vital signs on the monitor and listening for any needs or requests. Being attentive, quick to respond, and able to communicate if something changes. Providing reassurance or light assistance if he wakes. Maintaining a positive, alert, and friendly presence in the home overnight. About the care needs: Ideal candidate: Has a bubbly, engaging personality and brings light, laughter, and ease into the room. High-energy and emotionally grounded dependable but not overly serious. Appreciates a good laugh and maybe even has a touch of dark humor we believe humor heals. Experience with elder care, companionship, or health monitoring is a plus, but not required I value connection and attitude most. This isnt a heavy care position its about being present, upbeat, and attentive overnight so everyone can rest easy. The environment here is kind, easygoing, and filled with genuine appreciation for good people doing meaningful work. If youre a night owl with great energy, heart, and humor youll fit right in. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
