Occassional Caregiver Needed For My Mother In Yakima

I'm looking for a kind, dependable caregiver to help care for my mom on an occasional, as-needed basis. This is NOT a full time job. After having a stroke, my Mom needs help with transfers, dressing, showering, and toileting. I need someone who can fill in for short shifts ranging from 1 to 4 hours at a time, at any time of day depending on what's needed. My mom has some dementia, so it's important that the caregiver is patient, understanding, and comfortable working with dementia patients. She enjoys talking and having company, so someone friendly and easy to chat with would be a great fit. The right person should also be comfortable around dogs and children. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, helping with safe transfers, offering companionship, and providing a calm, caring presence. Pay is $18-20 an hour.
