About who needs care: 67-year-old female Requiring 24 care due to strokes, stage 4 cancer, requires assistance for daily living, and diabetes and medicine management in her home. She s mobile with walker with supervision. Looking for someone with medical training to manage meds, advocate , identify signs of medical emergencies, support with light household and meal prep, and work with palliative, hospice and home health care. She is a home body who just wants to spend her last months to year at home either her little dog and recoup skills to crochet and do some of her hobbies About the care needs: Someone that is even tempered and calm but can be gently firm and understanding and experience with stroke patients. Certified in the state of WA to manage meds in a facility or home care, and able to so live in care , day and or night shifts in a home that has a spare bedroom for privacy. Must be organized to manage medical and summary notes to chart my mothers meds, and weekly/daily changes and observations of her daily functions amd pregress or decline due to the cancer, diabetes, and strokes. Be able to communicate with her daughter effectively as her family support and POA. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
