About the job
Need in home care for 91-year-old male (father) with dementia. Duties would include: Cleaning of his bedroom, and bathroom, changing bed linen, washing. Making sure he takes his meds and warms his food or make sure he eats breakfast, lunch and dinner with snacks in between and light dish washing (what he uses). Note: There might be times where you make a sandwich or very ligh cooking (lunch). He speaks english and spanish (english preferred language), hard of hearing. He is a diabetic. Note: He can bath himself, but needs coaching getting into bathroom to bathe. Family member normally takes care of this, but might need assistance from time to time. Days needed: Mon-Wed 11:30-3:30 p.m. or 12-4 p.m. or 11-2pm
