Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Houston

About who needs care: Mom is a very healthy 94-year-old. She has balance problems and uses a walker. She needs supervision but is still able to cook garden and do light housework. She plays Bridge (card game) twice a week. She does not drive and walks quite slowly. Her ideal day is checking email then breakfast read the paper and watch TV. Occasional trips to the pharmacy or post office About the care needs: English speaker is preferred (bilingual is fine). We prefer someone who is kind and has a good sense of humor. Someone who can discuss current events and help prepare meals. Mom needs help with medications (pills) at meal times. Mom goes to bed at 8:30 p.m. and gets out of bed about 8:00 a.m. on most mornings. She does not need help with bathing or dressing. She is fairly independent. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship. Preference for a caregiver who is female.
