About who needs care: My mother, Carol, is 84 years old and will be starting chemo therapy mid-December 2025. She will need periodic care every 3 weeks for about 5 to 7 days from the side-effects of chemo-therapy, which will be predominantly major fatigue. She will most likely need help with bathing, dressing, and related care. Mom uses a walker due to spinal pain. She is a morning person. About the care needs: Looking for a caregiver that is friendly, compassionate, patient, and a hard-worker. Looking for someone that has experience working with senior care in the Georgetown-TX area where mom lives. The person does not necessarily need to be an RN, but it would be a plus if they were somewhat knowledgeable of medical and especially helpful if they have experience taking care of seniors that have gone through chemo-therapy.
