About who needs care: Has arthritis and is prone to falls. She currently has a broken elbow that is healing well. Her major issue is her right hip- she has had a replacement about 13 years ago and over the past 6 months, she has trouble walking. With her recent fall in October, the hip has worsened- can not walk now. About the care needs: Kind, gentle and understanding. They would need to know how to assist in moving her around with a walker type apparatus as well as getting her on and off toilets and providing showers. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
