About who needs care: The care is for our mother, an 84-year-old woman who has good mobility for her age. She does suffer from an electrocardial condition, for which she is under continual supervision. She spent her life as a professional and avid reader and learner. Her dog is an important companion for her and occupies a good portion of her day. An ideal day for her involves some nice conversation, tending to household chores and errands, and touching base with children, grandchildren, friends and relatives. About the care needs: Someone who is hard working will win her favor (she has worked very hard). Someone who has some skill with memory care and oversight of medication important. Specific skills would revolve around light housekeeping, help with dog, and some cooking/meal prep. A bonus would be anyone who can troubleshoot on home or car maintenance, or tech issues. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
