About who needs care: My mom is starting to show signs of dementia and lives alone although family lives next door. She has been having problems drinking enough water taking meds regularly taking walks bathing. I'm hoping for someone to help with those things. About the care needs: My mom is difficult and not very happy about losing her independence so someone easygoing but firm. My mom mostly only reads and smokes cigarettes so someone who could get her on a walk or to do anything different to stimulate her mind and body. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing. Preference for a caregiver who is female.
