About who needs care: We are looking for someone to come 10-4 p.m. Monday through Thursday to be present with with my parents. My father has dementia and is very pleasant. My mother physically is not as mobile as she used to be . Our concern is they need someone present for basic needs and reminders, and to help with food needs. The role is more for safety and companionship. About the care needs: Patience and kindness are a must as well as liking dogs as there are 3 in the home. Experience with dementia is a plus. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
