About the job
Our family is seeking a dedicated, non-smoking live-in aide for our father/husband in his late 70s. He needs full, hands-on care including meal prep, feeding, diapering, bathing (bed), and transfers (walking with walker and assistance when possible; Hoyer lift is used regularly--we are willing to train for Hoyer lift use). Caregiving experience is necessary as this is a physically demanding position with heavy lifting, and he becomes confused at times. Light housekeeping is required. Must be comfortable with a cat & friendly dogs. Caregiver will have own room with private bathroom. Full time caregiver would include six days per week. Work references required.
