About who needs care: She has dementia. We would like for her to get some light exercise and stimulation while we are at work. We are looking for a kind companion that is experienced in working with dementia patients in particular. She can be an escape artist as well sometimes, so the caregiver must be vigilant! About the care needs: Someone very patient would be ideal. May have to assist with hygiene, feeding, and memory lapses that lead to confusion and outbursts. Help with keeping her mind and body active. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing. Fluent in English and Spanish would be ideal, as she switches between the two languages without control sometimes.
