About who needs care: My husband (Colin pronounced like colon) is 83 and has been diagnosed with Alzehimers. He is mid-level in that he can pretty well take care of himself but has a hard time remembering. He is in denial that his dementia is more than mild. I'm with him 24/7 and he resents me taking care of everything. He is no longer able to drive (which he forgets) and gets angry when he asks why he can't. I am 79 and just need a few hours away from him with the knowledge he is safe. About the care needs: Some one who likes to talk. He is very personable and likes to talk about the past. He was in the Army Reserves, worked away from home at an early age, we married in 1964 and traveled a lot with our 2 children. We also traveled to multiply National Parks. Those are some if the things he likes to talk about. He's also interested in other people's experiences. Services needed include: companionship.
