Hands-on Respite Care Needed For My Mother In Leicester

My 82-year-old mother will need assistance while I accompany her spouse, my stepfather, as he gets cancer surgery in MD Anderson in Houston. I will likely be gone from Dec. 15 to Dec. 25. (If you are busy on Christmas, that's fine.) Mom has a number of health issues but most are managed. She is 76 lb., about 5' 2". She will mostly need fall prevention, light housekeeping assistance, and maybe assistance cooking/bringing down objects like a breadmaker. (Nothing heavy.) She's currently rehabbing a broken pelvis (Oct. 20). Main concern is fall prevention. She only wants someone for a few hours in the afternoon, but please be open to staying later if necessary. We have two cats who will hide from you.
