About who needs care: Mom has COPD and Lord knows what else. She just got out of the hospital and had 1 liter of fluid drained from her lungs (probably pneumonia), but they also found a mass and need to biopsy it, probably next week. She will probably have portable oxygen at home. She will need help around the house, maybe help dressing or getting in/out of bed. She doesn't like a lot of chatter, especially early in the morning. About the care needs: Mom does well with confident women who don't talk too much in the mornings, but who do like to carry a conversation when Mom is open to it. She is sharp and has her wits about her, but may need help with mobility around the house. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
