About who needs care: My husband is 50 years old and suffered a severe stroke in September 2020. The stroke left him with a left-sided deficit where he has no use of the left side of his body. He is supposed to start outpatient therapy on April 8th. He currently requires a lift for transfers to wheelchair. He wears pull-ups and requires changes. He can feed himself once the food is prepared and placed on tray for him. He can brush his teeth. He requires assistance with bathing and dressing. I work from home but start working at 3:30 a.m. I work until 8:30 a.m. Then I clock out to get him situated. Then clock back in from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It would be really helpful to have someone here from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thanks so much! About the care needs: Bubbly personality to keep his spirits up. I prefer someone who is already covid-19 vaccinated. I prefer someone who has worked with stroke patients before and who doesn't have a full schedule of other patients. I would love for the person to have CPR training. My husband loves to watch movies. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance. Preference for a caregiver who is female.
