About who needs care: Mom currently receives home health visits following a hip fracture on Valentine's Day. She enjoys meeting people and reminiscing about her childhood in Germany. She sometimes speaks in German language and has to be reminded to speak English language. She needs assistance getting to the bathroom and supervision while there. She will ask what to do with the soiled tissue and needs a reminder that it goes in the toilet. She loves Shirley Temple movies and The Sound of Music so we watch them--a lot. She doesn't hear well and has dementia so will repeat things and ask the same questions over and over. She is mostly a very pleasant person and enjoys visitors. About the care needs: I need an affordable compassionate caring and patient caregiver/friend who can visit with mom while I run errands a couple times a week. Services needed include: companionship, and mobility assistance. Preference for a caregiver who is female.
