About who needs care: Mother who was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's. She is able to walk with a walker but needs help with some daily tasks. Rides to appointments. Someone to visit with etc 4pm-8 p.m. would be a good time frame with occasional morning appointments About the care needs: Someone who is talkative and will keep her mind busy she tires out quickly as walking is a struggle. Someone who will talk and keep her mind off of some of her physical struggles. Due to Parkinson's she has hallucinations so a care giver that can redirect her to positive things when the hallucinations start. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship. Preference for a caregiver who is female.
