My grandmother was recently in the hospital due to a fall. She is now in a rehabilitation facility for physical therapy. She has been previously diagnosed with Alzheimer's but has been living on her own up until this point. The rehab facility is assessing what level of care she will need moving forward. We will know more of exactly what is needed afterwards but at minimum we would be looking for someone who has previous experience with Alzheimer's patients to come two-three days per week to assist with the following: Medication Prompting, Help Staying Physically Active, Companionship, Errands / Shopping. Assistance with medication is needed. The exact days/times are flexible at this point.
