About who needs care: My sister struggles with a degenerative disease that has caused her balance to be off and she walks with a walker. She needs help getting socks and her brace on and off, getting her drinks/food from the kitchen, getting her meds, any task that requires bending over toward the ground. She sits and watches TV most of the day and gets a shower once a day. She is with it and likes company but isn't overly social. About the care needs: Someone who is open to all walks of life. Who understands the emotions and struggles a person may go through who is young and still with it but cant get their body to do what a person their age can. Someone who is kind and patient. She is deaf but she reads lips and has a translating app that she reads as you talk. She just had her ankle fused and repaired after a fall. She is walking with a boot and walker well. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
