About who needs care: My mom has CTCL a rare form of lymphoma that affects the skin and makes her very red and itchy. Symptoms are managed with infusions at DFCI and creams. She enjoys spending time outside and with her dog Chico. She usually spends her day at home and around the house but would like to get out more for daily walks in the nicer weather. She is very independent but recently has suffered leg pain and is having difficulty walking. About the care needs: My mom is looking for a Portuguese or Spanish speaking woman who enjoys a good chat and cooking. She would need someone to prepare her lunch/ dinner and someone who is encouraging to take her out for walks. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
