About who needs care: Pace Maker Repeated UTIs Severe Spinal Curve making mobility difficult Some typical Age appropriate Dementia They have become very sedentary so we are hoping to get someone that would encourage movement and take her out on occasion to eat or shop, as well as appointments, etc Currently her day is structured that she wakes up around 9/930, eats breakfast, takes meds, sits in her recliner and watches TV, needs reminders to use the bathroom, currently has services like OT and PT as well as a visiting nurse. She then has lunch followed by more tv and napping, dinner then more of the same until she goes to bed. We are looking for care that might be partially covered by medicare to assist us during the day while we work. We could get away with 2 days a week. About the care needs: Friendly but firm as she can be stubborn in moving bathing and getting up in the mornings. Sandy likes to play checkers and talk about politics and have conversation and companionship. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
