About who needs care: Parkinson's demenia, using a catheter (bag needs changed daily/nurse comes to check on the catheter itself 1x weekly), is a fall risk. There aren't really any hobbies or activities, likes to watch TV and read the newspaper. Needs a lot of encouragement to get up and move around. About the care needs: Someone empathetic who can encourage him to move and do things for himself. He can get frustrated and anxious at times especially when he has some awareness of how much he's lost. Someone who can joke with him (he is known for his dad jokes). Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
