About who needs care: Its for both of my elderly parents. Mom is 84 with COPD and nightly peritoneal dialysis which she does herself, my father is 86 and has beginning to kid stage dementia, had a pacemaker due to heart disease and he is type 2 diabetic on insulin. Dad needs a lot more help than mom does bc of his cognitive decline and mom isnt able to keep up anymore. They both no longer drive as of recently, About the care needs: Someone is very patient kind professional and discreet, my mom and dad are very private and are fearful of someone they don't know helping them bc they don't trust people until they know them well. Someone who has a warm friendly personality and is understanding and listens well, Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
