About who needs care: ALS dx, needs assistance with light meal prep, feeding, drinking, toilet transfer, morning and evening routine. About the care needs: Someone who is pleasant and patient, not overbearing or rigid, someone who can anticipate needs, help with household tasks they see need to be done, ex, run laundry, empty dishwasher, etc. Not be on their phone just because my mom is occupied with a drink. She is sharp minded and can communicate through a tablet! Services needed include: meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance. My father is in the home but needs assistance with my mother. Hospice visits regularly, We can be flexible on shift times, but reliability is important.
