Seeking hands-on care near Crete for our mother in her 80s. Important - experience with managing and administering medication is required. One of your responsibilities will be helping with bathing and dressing. Seeking someone to handle very simple breakfast and lunch preparation. Most important companionship. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker. Family members are assisting with care giving as well. Currently 2 people are needed for some required care. We are looking for someone to assist on a regular basis but also someone with flexibility to cover additional days when needed. Our mom is recovering from surgery for a broken hip and returned home in November. Progress has been slow and delayed due to early onset dementia she is experiencing but there has been substantial healing and progress since her return.
