About who needs care: I am a cancer patient with a trach and a feeding tube. I qualify for a personal assistant paid for by for approximately 109 hrs per month. Duties include light housekeeping laundry dishes some meal preparation. I can handle most of my personal hygiene on my own . Could use a hand with some ofmytrach care. Also some encouragement to follow through with simple speech and physical therapy exercises. About the care needs: Someone with good sense of humor and not squeamish about wound care. My trach and g tube can be kinda messy at times. The hours are flexible and can work around most peoples schedules. I also have regular doctors appointments an therapy to attend so help keeping those organized would be a big help. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
